Hi my name is Samantha and welcome to my Children's and Adolescent Literature Blog. Over the next few weeks, I will be posting reviews and evaluating many Children's and Adolescent Literature pieces. It is important that children in our schools today are getting a good education through literature. There are a lot of books being read in classrooms today that students have already heard or they don't find enjoyable just because their teachers think the books are "easy reads" or because the teachers like them themselves. There are so many books out there that people have never read because they are not familiar to us so teachers don't want to read them.
As a future teacher, this blog will help me and even other future teachers find good pieces of literature that might not be familiar to us that can be shared with their students that are be enjoyable and fun but also educational as well.
